This pergola was designed to compliment the outdoor kitchen structure seen in the project featured below next. It is built of #1 select douglas fir S4S. All elements were planed down to achieve a smooth finish before priming and painting.
This structure consists of 4x4 redwood posts built up with doug fir 2x6, 4x8 header, 3x6 rafters, and 2x3 lattice. All elements were notched over one another for added integrity and interest.
